President/Chief Executive Officer, Project Manager
Bruce Boyer is President/CEO and is also a member of the Board of Directors for Harris & Ruth Painting. Bruce first started with Harris & Ruth back in 1974 as a shop attendant while attending high school and Cal Poly Pomona University. In 1978, he joined the LA Painters Union and started 4 years of training as a union painting apprentice. After finishing his apprenticeship, he went on to become a journeyman painter and foreman for Harris & Ruth, which he continued for many years.
In 2005, Bruce accepted the position of Executive Superintendent and Vice President of Field Operations. In 2014, Bruce was promoted to Vice President of Sales and then became a member of the Board of Directors for Harris & Ruth. Bruce was promoted to President of the company in October of 2018. Bruce is married to Kathleen Boyer, Harris & Ruth CIO, and has 5 children and 5 grandchildren. Bruce enjoys golf, sports, and travel.

Chief Financial Officer
Dan is the newly appointed C.F.O. for Harris & Ruth Painting, and has over 30 years of experience in the painting industry. Throughout his career he has been a successful estimator, project manager, and salesman of projects in the commercial and residential markets. He is active in Harris & Ruth's business development and manages a respectable client base. Dan serves on the Board of Directors for the Tri-County PDCA and he is also a member of the Building Owners Managers Association of Inland Empire, and Institute of Real Estate Management Inland Empire.
In his spare time, you’ll find him enjoying lake and mountain vacations with his wife and their three daughters.

Chairman of the Board, Project Manager
Terry has over 50 years of experience in the painting and wallcovering industry. He is a self-made professional, working his way from the role of a painter to field superintendent, estimating, sales, and eventually to president and owner of Harris & Ruth. In 2004, Terry had the vision of transitioning Harris & Ruth from a sole proprietorship to a 100% ESOP company (employee stock ownership plan) ensuring the future of the company and its employees. Terry provides detailed cost estimates and project Management to key accounts. We are happy to have him on the team.

Director, Project Manager
Mark is a Director and Project Manager for Harris & Ruth Painting, and he has over 31 years of experience in the construction industry, ranging from general contracting to the painting and wallcovering industry. He provides detailed cost estimates to his customers and manages awarded projects from start to finish. Mark was instrumental in transitioning Harris & Ruth from a sole proprietorship to a 100% ESOP company (employee stock ownership plan). We are happy to have him on the team.

Javier Lopez is our Superintendent and Safety Manager. He oversees the operations of each worksite from planning to completion, keeping all phases on-schedule. Heâ€™s been with the company since April of 2004, completed his apprenticeship training, and soon thereafter became a Lead Foreman. In June of 2014, Javier became our Executive Superintendent. Javierâ€™s gifts are his excellent crew leadership skills, scheduling and trade knowledge. He is relied-upon for sound decision-making and problem-solving as needed. His duties also include essential quality control and subcontractor coordination responsibilities. Javier maintains several certifications in the construction industry, including OSHA 30-hour, CPR training, lead awareness, certified AWP trainer, and scaffold training certificates. Javier is a husband and father of 3 who lives in Covina, CA.

Chief Information Officer
Kathleen Boyer is our CIO and Financial Services Administrator. Prior to joining our staff, she worked for over 20 years first as a legal secretary, then as a law office administrator in law firms in Los Angeles County. She received her B.A. degree from California State University, Fullerton, and thereafter has taken Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer training, as well as Adobe software courses to make better use of technology in the workplace. Kathleen is responsible for processing payroll, accounts payable, and employee benefits. She is also the liaison for solving in-house networking and computer technical issues. Also, in cooperation with our Safety Manager (Executive Superintendent Javier Lopez), she works to keep up with the safety program documentation and implementationâ€”a constantly-moving target. Kathleen is married to Bruce Boyer, President of Harris & Ruth Painting Contracting. Together, they have five adult children and five beautiful grandchildren.

Lead Project Administrator
Chanel is our Lead Project Administrator. She came to us with 17 years of experience as Project Administrator and Senior Project Coordinator for two general contracting firms. She works with our Project Managers and Executive Superintendent to assist them with contract processing, change orders, submittals, billing, and placing material orders. In her free, time she enjoys spending time with her 4 boys and is very involved with their sports activities. She is a valued employee and an asset to our team.

Assistant Project Administrator
Patricia is an Assistant Project Administrator for Harris & Ruth Painting and is the newest addition to our team. She has been with the company since April of 2018. Patricia received her B.A. degree from California State University, Fullerton. She has over 12 years of experience in customer service and brings that experience to her work with our clients. She started as an assistant office administrator and quickly grew into becoming more involved with project assistance and accounts receivable. She helps Kathleen with accounts payable as well as helping project managers with contracts, change orders, billing and submittals.
Patricia resides in West Covina with her significant other and their cat Lily. In her free time, she enjoys acting, singing, watching live music and traveling.
